Translate text in your browser
Choose a source and target language, enter up to 2,000 characters and press Translate, or Ctrl/Command + Enter. Automatic source-language detection is available. The interface language does not determine the language of your text.
Supported languages
The available choices are Ukrainian, English, Polish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Czech, Romanian and Portuguese. Translation quality varies by language pair and text. Some pairs may be translated through an intermediate language.
Copy, swap and listen
Swap exchanges the source and target selections and uses the translated text when available. Copy saves the translated text. Listen uses your browser’s speech synthesis, so available voices depend on your device. Clipboard access may require browser permission.
Translation history and privacy
Translation requests are processed on Gosta’s server. The ten most recent translations are saved in this browser using localStorage, shared between the Ukrainian and English interfaces. Clear history removes this local list. Avoid entering sensitive text that you do not want processed or retained in browser history.
Free translation and limitations
Gosta uses its own LibreTranslate and Argos Translate service. You do not need a paid API key or an account. Requests are subject to length and rate limits. If the service is busy, wait and try again. Machine translation can contain mistakes; review important text before using it.
